Princess Eugenie has been "encouraging people to co-exist with nature" through a new campaign. The youngest daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York released new pictures of her and her baby son, August Philip Hawke. ITV Royal Rota podcast host Lizzie Robinson explained the connection to Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.

She told listeners: "Eugenie took August to see the life-size elephant sculptures, which are in London at the moment.

"This was covered last year when the Duchess of Cornwall was interviewed.

"It was her late brother, Mark Shand's charity, the Elephant Family.

"Princess Eugenie is a patron of the Elephant Family."

Ms Robinson continued: "They've got a campaign at the moment, which is what the elephant sculptures are part of.

       "The campaign is called CoExistence.

"It's about encouraging people to coexist with nature.

"The sculptures are amazing and incredibly impressive."

Eugenie posted pictures of her and August to her Instagram account.

She wrote: "A giant herd of 100+ elephants has arrived in Green Park to share their CoExistence with London this summer. As a Patron of the Elephant Family and an honorary Matriarch, it’s my pleasure to share this journey with you.

"Within The Tea Timers herd is a wonderful baby elephant called Assam August - and it was such a pleasure to take my August to meet him."

The Duchess of Cornwall gave tributes to her late brother last year.

In April, she included his book, 'Travels on My Elephant', on a lockdown reading list.

The book tells the story of Mr Shand's adventures with his elephant Tara across India.

He died in 2014 at the age of 62 after falling in New York and sustaining fatal injuries.

Speaking to The Press and Journal, Camilla said: “My late brother’s tale of his love affair with Tara, an Asian elephant, on their journey across India always brings a tear to my eye."
