THE 12th Malaysian Plan (12MP) was passed by Dewan Rakyat yesterday after eight days of debates and replies by 27 ministries and departments.

       Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Azhar Azizan Harun said the 12MP was passed after being put to a voice vote.

       Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob tabled the 12MP, with the theme “A Prosperous, Inclusive, Sustainable Malaysia,” on Sept 27.

       The five-year (2021-2025) plan aims to steer the country out of the Covid-19 pandemic and put the economy on track.
