SEPANG: The man wanted for groping a woman at a parking lot in Tamarind Square, Cyberjaya, had accosted another victim in the commercial area shortly after the incident, says the police.

Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof said the suspect had done so some 15 minutes after the first incident on Tuesday (April 5).

"The second victim, a 34-year-old woman, was waiting for an elevator at Tamarind Square when the suspect hugged her from behind and groped her.

"She tried to escape but the suspect pushed her until she fell. He then fled the scene," he said when contacted on Wednesday (April 6).

ACP Wan Kamarul Azran said police believed the culprit was the same suspect who had earlier groped another woman at a parking lot in the commercial area.

"The suspect was clad in black track bottoms and a black long-sleeved shirt.

"We have also obtained CCTV recordings of the area," he said.

ACP Wan Kamarul Azran previously said police were looking for a man who had allegedly groped a 27-year-old woman at a parking lot in Tamarind Square, Cyberjaya.

He said the victim, who works as a personal assistant, was unloading items into her car when she was approached by a man at about 2pm on Tuesday (April 5).

The man offered to help her but she declined, and he proceeded to do so before squeezing the victim's butt.

The suspect, who wore black pants and a black shirt with a face mask on, fled the scene soon after the incident, ACP Wan Kamarul Azran had said.

He said police are in the midst of tracking down the suspect.

"We urge those with information to contact the nearest police station," he added.
