Chester Crown Court heard it is not clear how much the pair, who share the same surname but aren't married, made from selling drugs.
A police investigation was launched in November 2022 when officers seized two phones from Jade Hughes during a search of a home on an unrelated matter.
Officers discovered messages that were "indicative of drug supply".
In response to one message asking if she was "on drops", the hairdresser said: "Yes what you want mate?"

Police also found various mobile numbers that had sent out the bragging "flare" messages that were linked to the couple.
Prosecutor Will Griffin said: "Jonathan and Jade are in a relationship and both play a significant role.
"There is operational or management function within a chain and there was also expectation of substantial financial advantage.''
Police searching Jonathan Hughes' home found digital scales, torn plastic bags and knots, a snap bag with remnants of white powder and an EE SIM Card Package relating to a Samsung mobile phone.
There was also a hoard of drug paraphernalia in Jade Hughes' house. At the time, she was on a suspended sentence for possession of cannabis and drug-driving.
The court was told there was "no evidence of an extravagant lifestyle" paid for by selling the drugs.
Instead, the couple appeared to be using the money to fund their own addictions.
Sentencing, Judge Simon Berkson told them:“You were both involved in supplying drugs and addicted to drugs.
"You know better than most people how drugs ruin people’s lives.”
