       A WOMAN in Sibu, Sarawak, had the shock of her life when she opened her car door to see a cobra’s body protruding out of one of the air-conditioning vents, reports Sin Chew Daily.

       Alarmed, she contacted local snake catcher Lai Lee Siew.

       Dubbed the “Snake King” of Sibu, Lai inspected and found that the snake was dead.

       He believes the snake’s head got stuck while it was trying to escape through the vents.

       “It’s lucky that the cobra died. If not, the woman would have been in danger of being attacked,” he said.

       Experienced at catching snakes with his bare hands, Lai has helped many locals capture snakes which had slithered into car engines.

       However, he admitted this was the first time he had encountered a snake that had died trying to escape from an air-conditioning vent.

       The amount was so much that it took bank employees two hours to count the cash and three suitcases to carry it.

       The customer, who is known as Sunwear on Weibo, wrote that his decision to withdraw the money was due to “the worst customer service” he had experienced.

       “From those speaking on the phone to the security guards, all of them acted as if I owed them money.”

       Frustrated, Sunwear decided to move his millions elsewhere.

       However, due to the sheer amount he had, it had to be done via multiple transactions, with the first being the five million withdrawal.
