SEREMBAN: Actress Zarina Anjoulie Mohamad Fahizul pleaded not guilty at a Magistrate’s Court here to a charge of using methamphetamine.

       Zarina, 34, is accused of committing the offence at a house in Kg Chalet in Nilai in June.

       She was charged under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act which carries a jail term of up to two years, a fine of up to RM5,000 or both upon conviction.

       Magistrate Mahyun Yusof fixed bail at RM2,000 and Sept 24 for the next mention.

       The accused was represented by Fadhli Sutris and Ahmad Faiz Munawar.

       It was reported on June 29 that police had detained an actress for alleged drug abuse.
