RAPPER Aman Ra’s wife says their marriage is over, reported Harian Metro.
Natiqah Rahmat said the “lafaz cerai” (declaration of divorce) was uttered on March 29 last year with the court finalising the matter last week on Aug 5.
Aman Ra’s real name is Aman Jamaluddin.
Natiqah said she felt obliged to announce the news to put an end to the matter.
“The marriage between the father of my children and I has ended in a divorce. I don’t wish to play it up but just as a full stop to a story that is being spread.
“I am learning to make my voice heard and facing many emotions.
“Regardless of who is right or wrong, that’s history now. I just leave it entirely to God,” she said.
Natiqah acknowledged that a divorce affects families, but added that it isn’t the end of life.
“There is still a lot to go through and face. Thank you to everyone who has given me strength and prayed for me.
“To all the women, please don’t stop.... There is a better life ahead,” she said.
> The Covid-19 pandemic may have caused Che Kamarudin Che Amat, 62, to lose his source of income but it has not lessened his patriotism, reported Sinar Harian.
The trishaw rider in Kelantan still feels motivated enough to decorate his three-wheeler with flags of Malaysia and Kelantan.
The father of 10 children, aged 11 to 35, said he had started collecting the flags since June.
Che Kamarudin had spent about RM300 to buy more than 100 flags of all sizes.
