KUALA LUMPUR: The Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) has appointed Mohamad Haris Kader Sultan as its chief executive, effective March 1, 2022, following the retirement of Datuk Seri Jebasingam Issace John, who helmed NCIA since 2019.
In a statement today, NCIA said Mohamad Haris’ 12 years of experience and familiarity with the various Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER)’s high-impact projects, strategic investments and rakyat-centric human capital programmes position him well to lead NCIA.
It said Mohamad Haris, who hails from Penang, has a degree in Finance, Accountancy and Banking from University Utara Malaysia and a master’s in business administration from University Sains Malaysia.
"A member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, Mohamad Haris joined NCIA as finance manager in 2010, and became the financial controller in 2018 before serving as chief financial officer in 2020,” it added. - Bernama
