SINGER and actress Marsha Milan Londoh (pic) is slowly recovering from Covid-19, reported Harian Metro.

“The doctors explained to me that after a person gets infected, their body may get weak.

“When I was ill, the virus also affected my lungs,” she said when sharing her ordeal.

Marsha tested positive for the virus in early May after contracting a lung infection.

She had to undergo intensive treatment at Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar in Seremban before being transferred to Pantai Hospital in Bangsar.

Marsha added that she now experiences shortness of breath but is happy with her recovery.

“The doctors told me not to do strenuous activities so my lungs would not be burdened.

“For my sense of taste, it is also getting better, but for my sense of smell, it has not fully recovered yet,” she said.

Marsha Milan added that the doctors also advised her to temporarily stop singing due to her condition.

“So, that is my current challenge. Whatever it is, every week I will go for physiotherapy twice,” she said.

       > Sinar Harian reported that mixed rice sold at RM1.50 per pack by a single mother in Kampung Alor Tar Tumpat, Kelantan, has become an instant hit with the locals.

Siti Suhada Salleh, 34, said that after her husband died she decided to sell mixed rice and price it at only RM1.50 so that struggling local folk in the current pandemic climate could afford it.“If I were to sell it at a higher price, it would burden the kampung people.

“I calculated that I would still make some money, so without hesitation I decided on this price,” she said.

Siti Suhada said she was shocked to find out that her stall had gone viral on social media.

Since then, from selling over 80 packs of mixed rice a day she is closing in on hitting 500 packs a day.

The mother of two added that she only sells two dishes – rice with chicken or fish and nasi lemak, which is also sold at the same price.

“I decided to sell mixed rice after I could no longer work as a water filter cleaner when restrictions were imposed.

“Initially, I started small by going house to house with the help of my sister Siti Salma.

“When it became more popular, my sister and I decided to open a stall in front of my house,” she said.
