KUALA LUMPUR: IGB REIT Management Sdn Bhd has announced the demise of its joint chief operating officer (COO) Daniel Yong Chen-I, yesterday, due to sudden cardiac arrest.

       In a statement, IGB REIT said Yong joined Mid Valley City Sdn Bhd (MVC) in 1999 as a member of the pre-opening retail development team.

       “He was appointed executive director of MVC in 2003 and was its chief executive officer responsible for overseeing the management and operations of Mid Valley Megamall,” it said. — Bernama
