KUALA LUMPUR: Some 72% or 16,856,812 of the adult population in the country have completed their Covid-19 vaccination as at Friday.

       The Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee, in an infographic post on its Twitter account, said that 38,001,646 doses of vaccine had been dispensed so far.

       It said on Friday, 287,059 doses of vaccine were administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.

       The programme was launched on Feb 24 to contain the spread of Covid-19 in the country.
