PETALING JAYA: A total of 357,981 Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered in Malaysia on Tuesday (Aug 10).
In a series of posts on its official Twitter account on Wednesday (Aug 11), the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) also said that as of Tuesday, 39.5% of the nation's adult population has now received two doses of the vaccine.
It said that of the 357,981 doses of Covid-19 vaccines administered, 160,320 individuals received their first dose while another 197,661 people completed their second dose.
The JKJAV added that altogether, 25,366,211 vaccine doses have been administered all over the country since the programme began.
It also said that 16,119,996 people (or 68.9% of the adult population) have received their first dose while 9,246,295 (or 39.5% of the adult population) have received both doses.
