KUALA LUMPUR: Ace Innovate Asia Bhd’s unit Ace Capital Growth Sdn Bhd has lodged a police report over the theft of cash and gold estimated at RM533,437.

       In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Monday, it said the theft was committed by an employee of Ace Capital.

       Ace Capital had on Monday submitted an insurance claim on the full amount of losses to the insurance adjuster.

       “Pending the outcome of the insurance claim, Ace Capital will write-off the losses in the financial year ending Dec 31, 2021,” it said.
