PETALING JAYA: With churches and temples allowed to hold marriage ceremonies beginning today, orders are piling up for florists.
FarEastFlora.com Sdn Bhd manager Abby Beti Philip said business had picked up as soon as the government made the announcement.
“We have been getting many enquiries and orders.
“So it looks like it’s going to be a busy month from mid-October.
“Roses, carnations, lilies and baby’s breath are among the popular varieties.
“I don’t think there will be a problem supplying these flowers,” she said.
Abby added that since the government allowed more businesses to resume operations, orders had started to increase.
