The offer of a passport cover emblazoned with the inflammatory phrase "B******s to Brexit" is a "crass gimmick", Reform UK deputy leader Ben Habib has said.
And the Brexiteer also pointed out that the slogan had a disastrous impact on the career of former Liberal Democrat leader Jo Swinson when she unveiled it at the party’s annual conference months before the 2019 general election.

Property developer Mr Habib, a former Brexit Party MEP, told Express.co.uk: “From The New European, who brought us ‘b******s to Brexit’, a British passport holder stating across the top ‘European Forever’. It should state ‘Europe Destroyed’.”
He continued: “Europe once comprised a proud set of great countries.
“The EU has rendered it borderless; nation states are no more.
“So, they grudge us our passport and the protection offered to us by our borders.

Referring to the famously Brexit-critical Belgian MEP, Mr Habib added: “It’s generally quite a crass gimmick anyway.

The former MP for East Dumbartonshire, who campaigned on a platform of revoking article 50 and in effect scrapping Brexit, went on to lose her seat five years ago, having led her party for just 144 days.
