Lee Anderson claims the BBC is 'anti-government'
A furious Lee Anderson has blasted the radio station LBC, claiming it has failed to make any sort of apology to him after a caller made wild allegations about him.
On Monday, the senior Tory MP fumed after an LBC listener called into Rachel Johnson’s phone-in show claiming to be his son and making wild allegations about abuse.
A man claiming to be “Charlie Anderson” accused Mr Anderson of having “grabbed me” and “tried to headbutt me” after returning from a TV studio.
Ms Johnson quickly terminated the call, but not before shocked listeners took to social media to relay the moment.
Earlier this week, the Tory deputy chairman demanded an apology from LBC, saying it had broadcast a “slur on my family”.

He also said he would be reporting the incident to the police.
Mr Anderson added, for clarity, that the individual had got the age of his son Charlie wrong by 10 years, and the individual’s voice was “completely different to my son’s”.
Today, he said he has still had no apology from LBC for the incident.
He also revealed that he visited his elderly parents this morning, “who are deeply upset over this matter”.
“I have also raised a complaint with Ofcom and reported the matter to the police," said Mr Anderson.
“If the police can come knocking for misgendering someone, then they can come out for this.”

Speaking to GB News earlier this week, he said he was “very disappointed with LBC as well because they just carried on with the interview”.
He added: “No checks are put in place and it just goes to show how vulnerable we are as politicians now, or anybody really. Somebody can just make a phone call to a radio station and make these outrageous claims.
“Before I knew where I was this had been shared on Twitter thousands of times, disparaging my good name and the good name of my family. I was absolutely disgusted, and I’d like to have a minute with this chap.

“We're just waiting. I’ve spoken to my line management at CCHQ, they've been in contact with LBC and we're waiting for a proper response.
“I want a full apology. They need to say sorry, put some checks in place in future so this doesn't happen again.
The Express has approached LBC for comment.
