KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) accepts the fall of the Perikatan Nasional federal government following the resignation of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as Prime Minister.
"We comply with the requirements of the Constitution. Thank you," said PBS president Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili in a brief statement when commenting on the latest political development on Monday (Aug 16).
Ongkili was the former minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of Sabah and Sarawak Affairs.
PBS is an ally of the Perikatan government.
The party is also part of the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah state government that partnered Perikatan and Barisan Nasional.
