       Just Stop Oil protesters plan to cause chaos at the Last Night of The Proms, a Sunday Express investigation reveals.

       The eco-zealots are looking to create an “iconic scene of mayhem” at this Saturday’s Royal Albert Hall concert.

       Bosses at the famous venue are understood to have beefed up security and increased vetting for people who have bought tickets for the traditional end-of-season classical music event.

       Insiders say plans include storming the stage or playing loud music to disrupt the performances.

       There are also fears the mob could glue themselves to seats or the floor.

       It comes after two protesters disrupted the opening night of the BBC Proms in July. The environmental activists were taken off stage within moments of unveiling orange banners.

       One source behind next weekend’s hugely popular show told the Sunday Express: “Bosses have been warned to expect more stunts.

       “We know it’s on their list of events to target. Plans are in place to make it as difficult as possible for them.”

       A Just Stop Oil source said: “The Last Night at The Proms would be an iconic place to launch a stunt.

       “It is seen as the heart of the British establishment which is who we need to get our message to.”
