Just Stop Oil has stooped to a new low after two protesters from the eco-mob were videoed trying to smash the glass above the Magna Carta at the British Library.
Two eco-protesters wearing Just Stop Oil T-shirts were videoed attacking the glass with a hammer and chisel, in one of the group's more bizarre protests.
According to Sky News, the demonstrators were aged in their 80s and made little progress at getting through the glass.
The two protesters are reportedly Reverend Dr Sue Parfitt, 82, and Judy Bruce, 85, who then glued their hands together, demanding an emergency plan to just stop oil by 2030.
The pair launched the attack on one of four copies of the Magna Carta currently in the UK. The others are in Salisbury Cathedral, and Lincoln Castle, while the fourth is also kept in the British Library.
