KUALA LUMPUR: About two million recipients of the Sinovac vaccine are set to lose their fully vaccinated status if they do not receive their boosters by April 1, said Khairy Jamaluddin.
The Health Minister urged the Sinovac recipients to get their boosters as soon as possible to avoid losing their fully vaccinated status.
Khairy added that Sinovac recipients who have not received boosters will not be considered as fully vaccinated if they were to visit Singapore.
“Based on my discussion with the Singapore Health Minister, he said the country will also consider those Sinovac recipients who are not boostered as not fully vaccinated.
“So if you want to enjoy a Singapore holiday, it is best if you get your booster shot,” said Khairy at a press conference in Parliament.
Malaysia and Singapore have just agreed to allow travel between both their land borders for fully vaccinated travellers from April 1.
