IPOH: A lorry has been located buried under the debris at the landslide area along the Simpang Pulai-Cameron Highlands road.

       The rescue team managed to locate the vehicle at about 5.30pm.

       However, it is yet to be known how many people are in the vehicles.

       From the photo posted by the Perak Fire and Rescue department, the lorry was almost flattened due to the impact.

       The landslide occurred at KM27 Jalan Simpang Pulai-Cameron Highlands near here and it was believed that there were people trapped in two vehicles under the debris.

       A Perak Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said they were uncertain how many people were inside the vehicles, adding that they received a call about the incident at about 1.44pm on Thursday (Dec 2).
