SINGER Misha Omar apologised after realising that there were some aspiring mothers who were somehow discouraged by her current IVF treatment, Kosmo! reported.
Misha, 40, asked the people to pray for her to get pregnant again.
“I have continued my fertility treatment and if there is good news, I will share it with all.
“I understand when it comes to getting pregnant, everyone is sensitive, but I want to remind you that my sharing was just to create awareness,” said Misha.
Misha, whose real name is Samihah @ Aisah Omar, said she did not want to reveal too much out of respect for the feelings of women who were trying hard to conceive.
The singer said the pregnancy process of celebrities such as Neelofa and Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza should be an inspiration to her and other women.
“Look at how successful Siti Nurhaliza is. How patient she was to wait 11 years until Aafiyah was born,” she said.
Misha met her husband Firros Ezzwan Rosly on May 2, 2014, and was blessed with a son, Muhammad Idris Ezzwa, who is now six years old.
She also has an adopted child, Muhammad Adam Emir, 16.
> The daily also reported that singer Syamel and his wife Ernie Zakri, who is also a singer, welcomed their first child – a baby girl – on Tuesday at 10.14am.
Ernie, whose full name is Nur Ernie Shahirah Zakri, 30, shared an Instagram post saying they were grateful for the arrival of the newborn into their small family.
“Daddy and mummy’s sweetheart was born safely on Feb 22, 2022. Please pray for our health,” she wrote briefly.
The singer also uploaded a photo of her baby on Instagram.
Syamel also asked the public to pray for the health of his wife and their baby.
The good news also received thousands of congratulations, including from local celebrities.
“Congratulations Ernie and Syamel. May the confinement process be eased,” said actress Mira Filzah.
“Congratulations Syamel. I can’t wait to meet my grandchild,” commented Anuar Zain, who is Ernie’s uncle.
Syamel and Ernie were married on March 26 last year in a private ceremony at the Puncak Alam Mosque in Selangor.
