PETALING JAYA: A total of 343,900 Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered nationwide on Friday (Aug 27), says the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV).
It said in a post on Twitter on Saturday (Aug 28) that 141,492 people received their first dose while another 202,408 received their second dose.
The JKJAV said that Johor had the largest number of people receiving their first dose at 27,776 followed by Perak (23,782) and Kedah (20,152).
The JKJAV also said that 33,388,102 doses have been administered since the programme began earlier this year, adding that 81.5% of Malaysia's adult population has received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine and 61.1% have received two doses.
