KUALA LUMPUR: Edaran Otomobil Nasional Bhd (EON) has launched a dedicated Proton car website to reach a wider customer base.

       DRB-Hicom head of automotive distribution and EON chief executive officer Mohamed Akkbar Danial said a strong online presence would not only provide a massive opportunity for business growth but it is also at the heart of the car-buying process.

       “With over 80% of Malaysian car buyers doing their research online before making a purchase, it is only logical to have a good website that works well on personal computers, smartphones and tablets,” he said.

       The newly-designed website includes many features to help users navigate and browse for Proton models easily, he said in a statement. — Bernama
