The annual Labour Party Conference continues for a third day today with speeches from Ms Thornberry, Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves, Shadow Secretary of State Lisa Nandy and Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar. Ms Thornberry, the Shadow International Trade Secretary, will launch her attack on Brexit during a discussion about how to make farming trade deals more sustainable. The climate crisis is expected to be a key theme throughout the day.

       Shadow Chancellor Ms Reeves has today announced Labour's plans to abolish business rates and create a new Office for Value for Money.

       She is due to expand on her proposal to the party loyal during her keynote speech at midday.

       Labour is also outlining further devolution proposals with speeches from the Welsh First Minister Mark Drakeford and the shadow secretaries of state for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and Labour's leader in Scotland, Anas Sarwar.

       Meanwhile, Andy Burnham is holding a fringe event called "In conversation with Andy Burnham" in which the mayor of Greater Manchester, is expected to confirm that he's ready to come to the rescue of the party as its leader if Sir Keir Starmer fails.
