A FATHER-OF-THREE has been killed after being sucked into a mincemeat machine that was used for making hamburgers.
Rodrigo Roa Alvarez, 37, died while trying to repair the appliance at a slaughterhouse in the municipality of Dourados in Brazil, on Sunday.

Police said the engineer was carrying out the final adjustments to its maintenance work before the on-site safety supervisor realised what happened and notified the emergency services.
The victim was reported pulled into the machine and lost a part of his body - he died on the spot.
In a statement, the JBS Seara Alimentos abattoir said: "With much regret, JBS confirms the death of an employee in an accident at our facilities in Dourados on Sunday afternoon.
"The company sends our condolences to the worker’s family, who have been receiving all the necessary support.

According to reports, the engineer leaves behind a wife and three children - two daughters and a son.
The investigation continues.
