PETALING JAYA: ATA IMS Bhd has appointed Dharma Rajan Nadarajah as chief operating officer (COO) effective May 9.
The electronics manufacturing service (EMS) company said Dharma will oversee the group’s operations, build high performance teams, strengthen ATA's revenue base, and expand its environmental, social and governance initiatives.

Prior to his appointment, Dharma was executive vice president of Venture Corporation Ltd; managing global operations, customer management, design services, and sales.
Dharma holds an MBA from the Nanyang Business School of the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, where he was a Gold Medallist from the Institute of Engineers; and an honours degree in computer systems engineering from the University of Bristol, UK.
ATA said Dharma’s appointment follows the positive results of an independent review recently received by ATA from a big four accounting firm, which confirms that the group's activities are governed by human rights principles, laws, and best industry practices and standards for managing impacts in its areas of operation.
