KUALA LUMPUR: The Education Ministry will address the issue of teacher shortages again this month.

       Its Minister, Fadhlina Sidek, said her ministry has already filled 20,000 teaching positions.

       “The process is consistently efficient; each time there is a new intake, we promptly fill them.

       “We'll fill them (teachers) by April. Our planning and projections are on track, teacher training and recruitments are proceeding smoothly to fill all vacancies,” she said during a breaking-of-fast with the media on Monday (April 1).
