PETALING JAYA: The spirit of cooperation is evident in Yong Peng, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

       The Ayer Hitam MP said Yong Peng residents were ever helpful in helping him distribute essentials to the surrounding communities.

       "Earlier today, I was monitoring the situation at Dewan Gemilang Yong Peng, where village leaders and Yong Peng Umno division leaders were loading 6,000 food boxes for distribution to villagers.

       "There were also village leaders who brought their cars while some even used lorries to transport the items from the hall," he said in a Facebook post on Saturday (April 30).
