A ride-share driver was robbed overnight by three of his passengers on the South Side in the Chatham neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly after 2 a.m., officers were alerted by a ride-share driver who said he was robbed by three of his passengers in the 7800 block of South Lafayette Avenue. The driver was forced to hand over his phone and was struck on the face before his passengers fled the scene, police said.

The victim refused medical help at the scene. No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
