TANGKAK: A house in Kampung Cina near here was gutted in a fire on Tuesday (March 8).

       The Tangkak Fire and Rescue station chief Rafiah Aziz said it received an emergency call at 1.35pm.

       She said two Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) and an Emergency Medical Response Services (EMRS) vehicles were used in the operations.

       "Twelve firefighters were involved in the operations," Rafiah said in a statement.

       She said the fire damaged 90% of the house, adding that the cause and losses suffered were still under investigation.

       The fire was put out at 5.28pm.
