KOTA KINABALU: A TikTok video showing a woman slipping out of her residential area in downtown Bandaran Berjaya, which is under an enhanced movement control order, has gone viral.

       The video shows the woman crawling and weaving her way through the barbed wire and is believed to have been taken late Monday (July 12).

       The woman later ran towards another building after her escape.

       Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Hazani Ghazali said they have received reports of the video.

       He said police will get statements from witnesses, including the one who took the video.

       He urged the public to abide by the various movement control orders imposed for the safety of all.

       Bandaran Berjaya is among the dozens of localities in Sabah under the enhanced MCO.

       The enhanced MCO at Bandaran Berjaya is expected to last until July 25.
