BAJAUR: A villager was killed after terrorists opened fire on the border locality of Mamond tehsil of Bajaur tribal district from across the Afghan border, official sources said on Friday.

       They said the incident occurred in the Khwajawast area where the villager came under fire of the outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan terrorists from across the Afghan border.

       The sources said the victim, identified as Bahadur Khan, was seriously wounded in the firing and died on the spot. Soon after the incident, a team of security personnel reached the spot and shifted the body of the poor labourer to a nearby check-post before handing it over to his family.

       The victim was later buried in his native Ghakhai area.
