PUTRAJAYA: An enhanced movement control order will be placed on a locality in Cameron Highlands effective Sept 30.
The locality involved is the Kuala Boh Orang Asli village in Pos Menson at Ulu Telom sub-district, and the lockdown will take effect for 14 days until Oct 13, said the National Security Council on Tuesday (Sept 28).
It also said the enhanced MCO placed on Kampung Tementong in Lipis will be extended until Oct 13.
At the same time, the lockdown placed on several localities, including five in Sabah, will be lifted as scheduled on Wednesday (Sept 29).
The localities are Kampung Kirawangan and Kampung Pinatau in Kota Marudu, Kampung Nuntunan Api-Api in Keningau, Kampung Lungkidau in Ranau and Boustead Ruku-Ruku Plantation housing quarters in Telupid.
Additionally, the enhanced MCO on Kampung Badong Dala and Kampung Permatang Durian in Pekan, Pahang as well as Kampung Bahagia in Kuala Krai, Kelantan will also be lifted on Sept 29.
