SHAH ALAM - Former Malaysian prime minister Mahathir Mohamad’s health is improving as he current undergoes treatment at Malaysia’s National Heart Institute (IJN).
His aide, Mr Sufi Yusoff, stated that the 99-year-old was still receiving treatment at IJN.
“His condition is getting better, yet he is still under treatment. However, it is still uncertain when he will be allowed to go home,” he said via WhatsApp on Oct 17, according to Sinar Harian.
Previously, Tun Dr Mahathir was admitted to IJN due to a lung infection. He was hospitalised on Oct 15 afternoon and has been granted medical leave for 12 days until Oct 24. THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK
