PETALING JAYA: Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong has urged all MPs to keep things civil in Parliament, in the spirit of the memorandum of understanding just signed between the government and the Opposition.

The Transport Minister said Pokok Sena MP Datuk Mahfuz Omar had used the phrase "Apa punya mangkuk?" when Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin was speaking during Question Time.

Dr Wee said such words should not be uttered by MPs during parliamentary sittings.

"Although the MOU was signed, the attitudes are still the same with no change or maturity exhibited.

"This is our biggest challenge towards successfully transforming the Parliament and retaining political stability.

"Together let us pray for the best for Keluarga Malaysia," he said in a Facebook post.
