KOTA KINABALU: A new Covid-19 cluster involving a school in Lahad Datu district has been detected in Sabah, over a month after the last new cluster was reported.
It involves SM Sains Lahad Datu and has recorded 39 infections as of Friday (April 22), state Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said on Twitter.
He said this number was among Friday’s 149 new Covid-19 cases in the state.
“This is also an increase of 64 new cases from Thursday’s 85 cases,” he added.
He said of these cases, 141 are Categories 1 and 2.
