KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 95.8% of the adult population in the country, or 22,425,264 individuals, have completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of yesterday.

       Also, 98% of the adult population or 22,936,203 individuals have received at least one dose, according to the Health Ministry’s CovidNow portal.

       As for the adolescent population in the country, 82.7% or 2,603,148 individuals have completed their Covid-19 vaccination.

       Bernama also reported that a total of 2,760,656 individuals or 87.7% of adolescents in the country have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

       A total of 135,631 vaccine doses were dispensed on Tuesday, with 10,473 them given as second doses, 5,233 as first doses and 119,925 as booster shots.

       This brings the total to 52,232,576 doses of the vaccine having been administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.
