PETALING JAYA: Pakatan Harapan will contest all 28 seats in the coming Melaka state elections, and former chief minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron will contest under its banner at the Asahan state seat, while Datuk Nor Azman Hassan will defend his Pantai Kundor seat.

       PKR information chief Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin will contest the Paya Rumput state seat, said Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim during the announcement.

       "DAP will contest eight seats, Amanah will contest nine, PKR will contest 11. But all will be under Pakatan."

       Anwar also said Idris has been accepted as a PKR member, while Nor Azman has been accepted as an Amanah member.

       The press conference was attended by Amanah president Mohamad Sabu and Anwar, but DAP was noticeably absent.
