A 23-year-old Maryland man died last week after being shot in Takoma Park earlier this month, authorities said Wednesday.

       On Dec. 4 around 6:05 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 6800 block of Red Top Road, Prince George’s County police said in a statement. They found Ahmed Musa of Cheverly with gunshot wounds, and he was taken to a hospital, where he died on Dec. 17, the statement said.

       Police said they are working to identify a suspect and a motive. Anyone with information about the shooting may contact police at 301-516-2512.
