Prince William's "mistrust of Meghan Markle" is a "major reason" why William won’t engage with his brother, Prince Harry, a leading expert has claimed. It has been five years since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quit as senior working royals and moved to Montecito, California, to live with their two children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, three.
Speaking to Fox News, leading royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams claimed that "a mistrust of Meghan" is "a major reason" why William won’t engage with his brother, but only one of many.

He also claimed Prince William feels Harry has betrayed the Royal Family: "Given… the personal attacks on him in the memoir 'Spare,' reconciliation is likely to be a tough call with the [Prince of Wales]." The royal expert further warned, "There are some things which are not forgotten."
Harry's tell-all memoir, Spare, was released in January 2023, and included major moments of Prince Harry's life and relationship with the firm. According to Guinness World Records, Spare became "the fastest selling non-fiction book of all time" on the date of its release.
Mr Fitzwilliams added: "Of course, reconciliation is desirable and being in exile, which Harry is, is often very sad… The last time the brothers were together, at the memorial service for Lord Fellowes last August, they reportedly didn’t speak. I doubt much has changed."

Meghan Markle reportedly had a heated moment with Prince William after he confronted her about a comment she made about the Princess of Wales.
At the time, Kate was freshly postpartum following the birth of their third child in April 2018.

Prince Archie reportedly played a key role in one of his parents, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new projects, it has emerged.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently announced through their media company, Archewell Productions, a new “multi-year first look” deal with Netflix, as their previous lucrative one was nearing its end.
While announcing the news, the couple also revealed all projects that they are and will be working on with the streaming giant. One of them is called Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within.
And it looks like, aside from Harry’s humanitarian efforts in Africa, his son had a role to play in the latest project.

Queen Camilla opened up on the “troubles of beekeeping” during her latest appearance in North Yorkshire this week.
The Queen attended the second day of the Sky Bet Ebor Festival at York Racecourse on Thursday.
While there, she met racecourse staff and representatives from local charities supported by the track.
Camilla was presented with a jar of honey by Selina and Harry Silk of Knavesmire Nectar, whose bees are based at the racecourse. The couple said they bonded with the Queen, who also has her own hives, over the "troubles of beekeeping".

Prince Harry has been sent a warning on how he could attempt to rebuild his relationship with King Charles. According to a PR expert, the 40-year-old needs to avoid "more ugliness" - especially when it comes to his bombshell interviews.

King Charles searches for new travel planner as dream job opens up at Buckingham Palace
King Charles is looking for a new member of staff who can handle “sensitive and complex issues” for one of his royal residences in London. The Royal Household has listed on its official website a new job listing for a Royal Engagements Officer, who will work within the Private Secretary’s Office at Buckingham Palace.
The job offers a fixed-term contract for one year, starting from November 2025 until November 2026. The person will earn ￡40,000 a year and work 37.5 hours a week from Monday to Friday.
The person in the role will join the Royal Engagements team, which has a mission to facilitate “meaningful contact between Their Majesties’ and the world through careful coordination, thoughtful briefings, and seamless delivery of engagements.”

Two major royals set to travel abroad as palace issues statement
Buckingham Palace has announced that the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh will be heading abroad next month - to two separate countries. In order to mark the 50th anniversary of Papua New Guinea’s independence from Australia, Prince Edward will visit Papua New Guinea on behalf of King Charles from Sunday, September 14, to Wednesday, September 17.
The Prince will then be joined by his wife, the Duchess of Edinburgh for a key visit to Japan. They will arrive in the country on Thursday, September 18 and remain there until Monday, September 22, to celebrate the good relationship between the UK and Japan.

Prince Harry slammed by royal expert for stunt 'aimed at upstaging Kate and Will'
Prince Harry was blasted for his "PR stunt” on VJ Day, with one royal expert accusing him of trying to “upstage” Prince William and Princess Kate. The King led the royals as the nation commemorated the 80th anniversary of VJ Day last Friday during the national service or remembrance at the National Memorial Arboretum.
The Prince and Princess of Wales did not attend the ceremony, while the Duke of Sussex left a wreath and a note at the Burma Star Memorial. Harry paid a poignant tribute to his late grandfather, Prince Philip, in the letter, which was placed after Charles and Camilla left to avoid distracting from the service.
But a group of royal commentators blasted him for the move, dubbing it an “obvious PR stunt”.
