SEREMBAN: The repair work to the cut-off section of Jalan Pelangai-Terentang, Section 6.0 of the N141 route, Kuala Pilah due to the floods that hit the district early this year, will start at the end of March.

       Negeri Sembilan Public Works Department (JKR) director, Ir Wan Hasnan Wan Musa said the stretch of road has been closed to users since Jan 5 but they could use the alternative route N145, Jalan Juasseh Tengah- Pasir Ambor-Sungai Talan.

       "The heavy rain yesterday resulted in the collapse of the embankment and part of the road at the location but we will expedite the repair work," he said when contacted, here, on Monday (March 7).

       He also advised road users to avoid the affected route and use the alternative one until completion of the repair work. - Bernama
