PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 30,787 new Covid-19 infections on Thursday (March 10), says the Health Ministry.
According to the CovidNow portal, this brought the total number of infections in the country to 3,741,986 cases since the pandemic began.
The Health Ministry reported that there were 608 imported Covid-19 cases, while 30,179 cases were local transmissions.
It also said that there were 26,457 recoveries on Thursday, and a total of 314,421 active cases in Malaysias.
There were four new clusters for a total of 419 active clusters.
Meanwhile, 70 deaths were reported, with 19 brought-in-dead.
A total of 389 patients are warded in intensive care units (ICU), with 2,624 hospitalised throughout the country.
