SEREMBAN: The state Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) has denied claims that those who do not get their appointment by Aug 1 will be able to walk-in to any vaccination centre in Negri Sembilan to get their jabs.
It said appointments will only be given out through the MySejahtera application and that there is no truth that these individuals will be able to walk-in to any of the 96 public and private centres in the state to get their shots.
"The state CITF wishes to deny claims that have gone viral on social media that those who do not get an appointment can walk-in to any centre from Aug 1. We have never issued any statement allowing anyone to walk-in to any public or private centre to get their vaccine from Aug 1," it said in a statement on Thursday (July 22).
On Tuesday (July 20), the federal CITF said only those in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor who do not have an appointment by Aug 1 can walk into vaccination centres.
However, the CITF said these included foreigners or undocumented workers or those those who do not have identity or travel documents.
