Queen heartbreak: Prince Harry threatens to ruin special moment for Royal Family

Royal expert Nick Bullen reflected on the news that Prince Harry will be releasing a memoir book in 2020. While speaking to US Weekly's Joe Drake, he argued this memoir could distract from the major celebrations of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. However, he did add that the book would be released towards the tail end of 2022.

Mr Bullen said: "I think the bigger thing is that next year is the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

"It will be her 70th year and no member of the Royal Family has had a Platinum Jubilee.

"I think what has really upset people and upset people in the palace is that this book is coming out in the Queen's jubilee year.

"That could be seen as disrespectful, that is the major issue.

"I am told the book is not coming out until autumn so most of the jubilee celebrations will be done by then.

"But nevertheless maybe it would have been better to wait till 2023."

The Royal expert then went on to defend Prince Harry and argued against the claims the Duke's book would be a royal tell-all.

He said: "Equally I am hearing from the Sussex camp that is not necessarily a tell-all book.

"The book will have a different tone and it won't be lifting the lid on life as a prince.

"But if the publishers are paying 20m dollars for it they are going to want something for it.

"I think that will be interesting."

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams argued releasing the book in 2022 was extremely bad news.

He also noted the Royal Family are put in a difficult position as they cannot comment on claims made by the Duke.

Mr Fitzwilliams claimed this book will make reconciliation between Harry and the rest of the family more difficult.

He added: "I think that is extremely bad news and I fear there will be a sensationalist aspect to it."
