KOTA KINABALU: Eight people were injured after a car collided with two motorcycles before crashing into a house in Jalan Kampung Dalab Pantai in Sabah's interior Tambunan.
Two occupants of the house - a woman, 48, and a man, 45 - sustained minor injuries while the motorcyclists, both 19, were also injured in the accident that occurred around 8.50pm on Sunday (Feb 4).
The 45-year-old car driver and three passengers - aged four, five and 17 - were also injured.
Sabah Fire and Rescue Department officer Supt Riki Mohan Singh Ramday said all victims were sent to the hospital for treatment.
"The accident involved a car colliding with two motorcycles before crashing into a nearby house," he said, adding that a room of the house was damaged.
In an unrelated accident in the east coast Semporna, a Pakistani motorcyclist was killed on the spot in a collision with a car on Jalan Gomak in Taman Sutera aound 10.30am on Monday (Feb 5).
Amir Afzal was declared dead at the scene by medical officers, while his pillion rider, 53-year-old Saadiah Othman, was rushed to the Semporna hospital in an ambulance. She sustained multiple injuries.
