KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) has appointed Hizzan Hamid as the new chief executive officer of its property arm, KWEST Sdn Bhd.

       The appointment took effect on Sept 1, 2021.

       The appointment of Hizzan Hamid followed the departure of former KWEST chief executive officer, Sufian Abdullah.

       In a statement, KWAP said Hizzan was previously the executive director of business development at Gamuda Land.

       He has experience in managing land acquisition and commercial real estate.

       His career in property spans across 14 years in local and international acquisitions, as well as facilitating joint ventures between top property development companies and government-linked organisations.
