       KUWAIT CITY, March 6: A proposal has been presented to the Kuwait Municipality to assign the private sector to manage the spring camps, reports Al-Rai daily quoting a reliable source from the Municipality. The source said the Municipality could either continue to carry out the above mentioned task or ask for the cooperation of the Touristic Enterprises Company (TEC) through the formation of a joint committee whose members are from various government entities.

       On the other hand, the source confirmed to the daily that no decision has been taken to extend the current spring camping season; especially since the concerned committee did not discuss this in its previous meetings. Therefore, the spring camping season will end on March 15 as scheduled, the source added. The source continued saying that “the number of violations in the current season decreased compared to previous seasons.”He attributed this decrease to the large scale distribution of garbage containers in the camp sites.
