A man was left shocked after his neighbour placed a passive aggressive note on his van, despite being parked legally.

       The angry driver posted a picture of the handwritten note online adding how it was the third neighbour who had complained about his vehicle.

       Taking to TikTok the driver said they acknowledge the van may not be the “prettiest” and they’re not “intending to upset anyone”.

       TikTok user @seannd17 wrote: “New year, same issues.

       “This is the third neighbour who has complained about my completely legally parked van.

       “I get it, it may not look the prettiest outside your house, but I just park where I can, I am not intending to upset people.”

       He then posted a photo of the note which he found on his front window screen.

       It read: “Please may you move the van outside our house.

       “We have really struggled over Christmas, we have a large amount of guests over Saturday night and really need the space.”

       The man's post has clearly resonated with a large number of people, as it has racked up over 1,000 comments and has over half a million views.

       Many users agreed with the neighbour and advised the van driver to find a different spot.

       One wrote: “It is a very polite notice and it looks like they are only asking for it to be parked elsewhere for one night.

       “I’d try to comply if I was able to as a gesture of good neighbourliness.”

       A second said : "Why can’t you park in front of your own house like they suggest?"

       To which the driver replied: "Because there was no space outside, already repeated that multiple times, this is the third neighbour to complain no matter where I park it someone’s not happy so what do I do".

       Other people said he was completely in the right if it is a legal spot.

       One wrote: “Start leaving notes on cars that park outside the front of your house asking them to move.”
