KUALA LUMPUR: The remand of the suspect in the murder of a 25-year-old woman at a Bandar Tun Razak bookshop has been extended to Friday (March 25), says Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Muhammad Idzam Jaafar.

       He added that the investigation into the case is almost complete, and said that the victim was at the shop on a Saturday as she was waiting for a book supplier.

       On March 12, the 25-year-old woman was discovered following a fire at a book shop located in a school at Bandar Tun Razak.

       Police then arrested a 30 year old security guard, who they say is the main suspect.

       Speaking at a press conference at the Cheras police headquarters after a blood donation drive on Monday (March 21), ACP Muhammad Idzam said that the investigation is about 90% complete.
